The Bartender is a vital team member in Big Fish Restaurant Group, and the ideal candidate will possess a fun, upbeat personality and genuinely enjoy interacting with guests. The Bartender is responsible for making drinks for guests at the bar and drinks to be served to those sitting in the dining room, while providing outstanding service and hospitality to all. He/she follows company standards in regards to beverage pours and acts in a professional and responsible manner at all times. The Bartender is also aware of and complies with state and federal liquor laws through age verification and terminating alcohol consumption of seemingly intoxicated individuals. He/she maintains up to date knowledge of not only the restaurant's beverage menu, but food menu as well, and processes credit card and cash transactions as outlined by BFRG policies and procedures. Big Fish Restaurant Group aims to exceed every guest's expectations and it is the responsibility of the Bartender to uphold our high standard of service and quality.


* Maintaining proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis (this includes the stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products and condiments)

* Maintaining stock by cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality

* Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner; promote and document orders for drinks; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes

* Input orders into a register at the point-of-sale and create a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers

* Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed in order to balance all transactions

* Lock and store all beverage, food, and other equipment items

* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis

* Perform any other job related duties as assigned


* Neat, clean, and professional appearance

* One year experience in a high-volume bar

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Guest- friendly demeanor

* Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
