Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Your challenge We challenge you to be a Test lead for Tailored Ambulatory Care, an FDA-regulated hospital-to-home tele-monitoring population health solution with a patient-facing tablet application. Philips is transforming population health management. Our solutions give clinicians the ability to keep tabs on their chronically ill patients, while those patients continue to live in their own homes. Protocols and care plans are customized for each patient based on their condition and progress. The patient’s status is collected via vitals and surveys. Rule-based engines review that incoming data to help the clinician identify patients needing additional attention. These solutions, which include: · a Web-based clinician portal · an Android-based patient tablet application · cloud-based data storage · video-based visits between the clinician and patient · clinically designed and validated protocols and educational content have been proven to significantly reduce costs and hospital readmissions. Are you ready to join us as our platform heads to the next level? Philips is seeking a software test lead to oversee the software test effort for its Hospital to Home solutions. This position reports to the Software Test Manager and is located in our Baltimore, Maryland office. Responsibilities · Coordinate testing by a dozen teams across 3 continents · Review and approve test cases · Report on status of testing for the project, and address or escalate issues related to testing · Ensure that teams are following documented test processes for FDA traceability and compliance · Help drive our move from manual to automated testing within regulatory frameworks · Participate in continuous improvement efforts to transform ways of working and improve outcomes · Participate in Defect Review and Patient Safety Review meetings · Provide data to the release team and management on status of the test effort Your Skills · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field, and/or at least 5-7 years related experience in regulated clinical software · Familiarity with testing on web and mobile platforms · Strong communication and project management skills · Previous experience coordinating distributed or offshore testing teams · Strong knowledge of Agile and process improvement methodologies · Familiarity with Team Foundation Server and HP ALM/Quality Center · Experience with test automation using Selenium preferred · Ability to work well independently and as part of a group Our offer Here at Philips WE ARE Working Together for a Better Tomorrow: Philips' dedication to enriching lives is reflected in our company, our solutions, and a commitment to our people.
