I: Job Summary

The QA Analyst II is responsible for performing duties related to Quality Assurance on the Floor Printed Material Management and Quality Assurance on the Floor Warehouse. The QA Analyst II will also perform raw materials review and release functions. Our QA Department provides expertise in problem solving and process improvements. The QA Analyst II will interact with all departments to provide guidance necessary to maintain and improve CGMP compliance at the company.

II: Responsibilities

Key Duties will include:

* AQL inspections of printed materials.

* Disposition and Issuance of printed materials

* Conduct cycle counts

* Perform SAP Transactions (Non-release transactions only)

* Quality Assurance Audits of Warehouse

* Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

* Write, review and revise Material Specifications

* Critically review raw material documentation

* Disposition raw material for QA Release

* Actively involved in daily operations to meet schedules or to resolve problems.

* Assist with deviation writing and investigations

* Assist in managing Quality Metrics

* Recommend and implement improvements to Warehouse processes

* Other duties as assigned

III: Education, Experience & Skills

BS or BA degree preferred with 2 years of GMP experience in QA/QC role required

* Minimum of one year in a FDA regulated industry.

* Must have strong attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.

* Excellent written and verbal skills.

* Ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate corrective actions.

* Ability to exercise judgment for defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

* Ability to use computer programs such as Veeva and SAP.

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* Proficient knowledge of CGMP.

* Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Understand and respond to a diverse population.

* Ability to make sound decisions regarding compliance-related issues with moderate supervision.

* Strong leadership skills; high level of personal/departmental accountability and responsibility.

IV: Physical/Mental Requirements

* Type/keyboard, stand, walk, sit, light lifting, pushing/moving objects. Use phone, fax, copier, and computer. Organize/coordinate, analyze/interpret, problem solve, make decisions, plan, communicate, prepare written communications, and prepare transaction documents. Most of the time will be spent in the warehouse.
