Position Summary The WP Segment Specialist : Key Accounts is responsible for executing sales and business development initiatives in the Key Accounts segment to achieve sales and revenue goals. Key Accounts include, but are not limited to: business and industry accounts, colleges and universities, hotels and hospitality, healthcare, local commercial chains and sports and recreation. Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAchieve client sales growth in accordance with company Client Team planning processCall on assigned Key Accounts to achieve sales and revenue goalsAchieve assigned call standards, priority account standards, volume assignments, placement assignments, task assignments and sales initiativesTimely and accurately report all sales activity in appropriate systemsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with distribution National Account teamsOrganize Non:Commercial segment market showsCommunicate Key Accounts plans and initiatives to the marketCoordinate sales initiatives with the market General Manager and/or Sales ManagerPlan sales calls to achieve client performance goals and initiativesRespond timely to internal/external questions and information requestsParticipate in food shows, market visits, client and industry meetingsOther duties, responsibilities and activities as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities Direct ReportsThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports Indirect ReportsThis position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports Travel and/or Driving Requirements Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job Travel up to 40 Minimum QualificationsEducation Level: (Required): Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business, Business Administration, Marketing3:5 years of experience in sales, sales management, business development or planning, preferably in foodservice or healthcare; experience with brokers, national manufacturers, large leverage operators, contract management and group purchasing sales Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesStrong written communication and verbal communication skillsAnalytical and research skillsAbility to understand and follow specific instructions and proceduresAbility to exercise sound judgmentAbility to make oral presentationsExcellent customer service orientationGood interpersonal skillsStrong prioritization skillsConflict management skillsDecision making skillsTeam building skillsAbility to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reportsAbility to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintainedAbility to work effectively with managementAbility to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategicallyAbility to research and analyze data effectively Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the businessWell:organized, detail:o
