Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Talent Management/Organization Effectiveness Consultant 3 to support the HR Organization Effectiveness (OE) team. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD and report to the Manager of Organization Effectiveness in the Talent Management group. The position could be supported from our McLean, VA location; however, it will require travel to Linthicum a few days per week. This includes a wide variety of human resources programs and initiatives such as talent management, performance management, OE consulting and HR data analysis and metrics reporting. More information can be found at Key Responsibilities: In partnership with the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and enterprise Talent Management & Development, execute talent management strategy and supporting activities for the sector; partner with business and HR leaders to identify and develop diverse talent pools at multiple levels – strengthening the pipeline and readiness of future people and technical leaders. Create sustainable competitive advantage by aligning talent, operating models, and business strategy. Drive sector culture change strategy and implementation in alignment with business strategies and objectives; address key focus areas in talent management: identifying, accelerating and measuring talent. Develop strategic partnerships with the Leadership, HR Business Leaders/Partners, and other internal clients to identify and intervene on talent management initiatives that foster organization effectiveness and to address enterprise and sector strategic goals and needs. Partner with and influence stakeholders across the Company to build consistent talent management and performance management practices that drive overall business strategies. The successful candidate will have the following characteristics: Demonstrated success managing complex and competing organizational priorities. Excellent business acumen. Proven understanding of how HR and organizational change processes and tools accelerate business results. Attentiveness to detail; strong data analysis skills and ability to recognize data anomalies. Demonstrated success translating OE and OD concepts and tools to business solutions and outcomes for sustainable business differentiation in the marketplace. Comfortable challenging the status quo. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Confident executive presence. A strong interest in growing and developing in the HR field is a plus.
