Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage. Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Manages all aspects of end:to:end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems. Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business.Lead a small team of statisticians, programmers (SAS, SPSS), data modelers and analysts focused on developing and implementing statistical models in support of CMSA? Program Integrity efforts in the Fraud Prevention System. Responsible to manage the development lifecycle including the design, documentation, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of national models to detect potential fraud, waste or abuse.Responsible to develop innovative solutions for risk scoring and prioritization algorithms to rank entities across the FWA spectrum.Will help to mentor and train team on statistical techniques effective at identifying FWA.Will be asked to evaluate technical or process solutions to improve fraud detection or improve efficiencies in development and design.Must have excellent communication skills to work with different levels of customers, from analysts to Sr. level CMS officials and will have close communication with other CMS PI vendors working within the FPS program.Must have attention to detail and be focused on quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.May present analytical solutions and model findings to large groups of program integrity contractors and CMS employees.Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with tight deadlines and in a visible customer and contractor environment.Preferred Skills : Statistical analysis, Medicare claims data, systems and policies, SQL, SAS and SPSS modeler, DB2, HadoopPreferred Education : MasterA?s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related fieldPreferred Experience : 8:10 Years of experience in Medicare Program Integrity, Statistical Analysis and Leadership Responsibility BA or equivalent + 6 yrs related experience, or MA + 4 yrs related experienceCSRA is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
