Thos. Somerville is seeking an experienced Kitchen and Bath Showroom Sales Manager.
The KOHLER Signature Store offers a unique and comprehensive shopping experience that is distinguished by a modern, innovative store and a merchandise mix that completely indulges you as you experience the KOHLER brand. KOHLER project consultants with expertise in bath design offer design development and project assistance. Additionally, the store features functioning products from KOHLER, KALLISTA, ROBERN, KOHLER Surfaces tile and stone and KOHLER Custom Vanities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide excellent shopping experience to customer (e.g., ensuring they are greeted promptly, project needs are met, quick and efficient service).
Ensuring customer concerns are solved effectively and promptly.
Scheduling staff to meet the demands of the customer traffic.
Ensuring that all displays are current and in good condition.
Work with Corporate Showroom Manager on displays, and discuss and stay on top of merchandising issues
Coaching, training and developing sales associates informally and through formal training programs.
Communicate clearly the companys and showrooms objectives and sales goals.
Review sales/ profit numbers with each staff member.
Ensuring that all reviews are complete on time.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels in the showroom.
Studying competition to identify trends and develop new strategies reporting back to Corporate Showroom Manager
Attend Builders Expo and trade show with in region to promote future business.
Attend Trade shows (e.g.; KBIS, Builder Marts)
Ensuring the safety of our customers and staff
Follow and uphold the showroom staff expectations
Follow company policy and procedure
Work assigned Saturdays and as scheduled.
Participate in annual physical inventory.
Attend all meetings (sales, branch, safety, product training, etc.).
Follow dress code for Showroom personnel and maintain a professional appearance.
Promote and display teamwork

Required Qualifications
* Must have at least 4 years of Kitchen and Bath design sales management experience
* A college degree (Associate or Bachelor) is required
* Kitchen and Bath and plumbing background is required
* Previous experience working for a distributor or Kitchen and Bath dealer helpful.
* Marketing skills; social media and blogging experience a plus
* 2020 Design knowledge preferred
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Must be available and willing to work 5 days per week that is a rotating schedule, including weekends
