Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) seeks to fill the position of Intellectual Property (IP) Commercialization Licensing Manager 2 in the Advanced Concepts and Technologies Division.

The IP Commercialization Licensing Manager 2 will have the responsibility to identify, investigate and analyze Northrop Grumman's intellectual property (IP) portfolio and the potential commercial applications for the IP with the intent of developing IP licensing agreements in the commercial market space that provide financial profitability, in accordance with company objectives and strategic plans.

Other Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide research and solicits consumer reports that assess the IP’s value, potential markets and licensees.
  • Lead a diverse team of individuals from various departments to achieve a common objective.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for the mutual benefit of all parties.
  • Establish relationships with existing licensees and ensure compliance with the terms of the IP licensing agreement.
  • Serve as the point of contact for potential and existing Licensees.
  • Plan and implement licensing promotions to maximize consumer exposure and licensing profitability.
  • Prepare and provide quarterly reviews, presentations and reports on actual and forecasted revenue to executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with the approval processes for all IP licenses.
