This position provides Human Capital support services for two Maryland:based Health Services projects and three DC:based Health Services projects. The incumbent in this position is responsible for high:level process implementation/improvements, employee relations investigations and back:office compliance analysis at the project and Corporate level. Recruitment and interviewing for project positionsHuman Capital reporting and data gatheringRecommends process improvements to reduce risk and deficienciesEmployee relations; provide guidance to managers and supervisors and conduct investigations into employee relations complaints at the local and corporate level.Administering quarterly project bonus plan and focal pointProcessing ePAFs, I:9s, and other HR formsPoint of contact for all CostPoint manual entries at the project and regional levelAssisting employees with benefit and other enrollmentPerform research and develop controls to ensure that local Human Capital processes and programs are compliant with current Federal, state and local legislation, as well as corporate policyCreate, implement and document local Human Resources and operations policies and proceduresParticipate in initiatives through the MAXIMUS Corporate Office, as neededDrive compliance objectives, provide project management, manage implementation activities, and develop processes and documentation for program rollout and ongoing support at the project and regional level Supervises the HR Coordinator Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; Preferably in the fields of Business or Human ResourcesSHRM certification preferredFive (5) years of progressive Human Capital Generalist experience requiredKnowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) administration preferredKnowledge of Federal, Maryland, and DC laws affecting employmentExperience designing and executing complex HR staffing plansExperience conducting complex workplace investigationsKnowledge of electronic recruiting systemsKnowledge of benefit and compensation programsIntermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust have proven analytic skills and be detail:orientedExceptional multi:tasking abilitiesA committed and diverse workforce is our most important resource.MAXIMUS is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.MAXIMUS provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disabled status.
