NGMS is seeking a Engineering Logistics Project Manager level 3 or 4 to join our organization in Baltimore, MD. The successful candidate will perform as the primary Logistics Point of Contact and manage a variety of Logistics functions including, but not limited to, Prime Mission Equipment (PME) design, procurement, sparing, repair, support and test equipment design, and technical documentation and training. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable of and responsible for managing all Logistics matters within the Program, including contract, cost, and schedule requirements with a general understanding of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Strong team leadership, communication, collaboration, and customer interface skills are required.
The successful candidate should possess the skills and ability to implement effective Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) programs, as well as establish, manage, and monitor corresponding budgets as indicators of overall Logistics performance. The ideal candidate will have responsibility for Logistics program planning, generating proposals, negotiating contracts, producing technical reports, identifying and resolving Logistics issues, and providing accurate and timely responses to customer technical information queries and requests for support, as well as developing and implementing support strategies.
The individual must also possess effective organizational leadership and interface skills to successfully engage across functional teams comprised of Program Management, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Subcontractors and Customers. Periodic domestic travel up to 10% will be required.
