Northrop Grumman is seeking a Training Rep 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Skills Training & Certification team in the Mission Systems Sector, responsible for providing overall process architecture and hands on skills training and certification for the manufacturing and operations workforce. Must have a strong desire to implement emerging digital technology applications (e-learning, web-based training, mobile learning, virtual instructor-led training, videos, tutorials, etc.) in the training environment. Must be able to work effectively given tight deadlines, multiple tasks and customers, shifting priorities, and limited resources.
Plan, design, develop/coordinate and deliver training programs in support of various manufacturing operations. Obtain information needed to prepare training programs, prepare training material, develop course content, determine training methodology, and develop training aids and criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Must be willing and capable of learning and developing new skills (electronics, fiber optics, soldering, CNC, robotics, etc.) as assigned in order to support training requirements. May perform real-time technical skills coaching. Be proficient in the use of MS Office Products to support the development and update of training materials and curriculum documents. Provides project management, planning, and feedback to technical training team through all phases of design and administration of programs to train all levels of personnel. Additional duties include providing training interface between various Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, QA, Material & Production Control, and Customer process teams as required. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. May evaluate and/or oversee Contractors or Vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for the development of e-learning programs.
This position may be filled at a Level 2 or a Level 3 depending upon qualifications.
