Responsibilities Job : * Incorporate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems vulnerabilities into training materials * Incorporate the impact of changing Windows Operating Systems technologies into training materials * Assess student knowledge, skills, and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area * Apply industry best practices in adult learning principles and theories * Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities * Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes * Conduct courses relevant to the assigned topic area * Provide technical area expertise to advise on the development of training material to meet the Windows Operating Systems topic area objectives * Develop Windows topic area training material to meet Government identified training standards * Ensure Windows topic area training material Is integrated and supports related topic area training materials * Conduct content review based on student evaluations and provide recommendations for training material revisions * Conduct periodic course content review and provide recommendations for training material revisions * Perform task and skill analysis of training requirements to develop learning objectives within training materials * Interact with training developers, curriculum managers and mission customers to assist with design and implementation of a total training package * Coordinate with ADET to incorporate training into the NCS curriculum as required Skills and Qualifications: * A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field and four (4) years' work experience in the specific topic area (Windows Operating Systems) to include all of the following: * General Windows concepts and terms * Windows Operating Systems (eg, XP, Vista., 2000, 2007) * Windows Kernel specifics * File Systems * Boot process * Undocumented interfaces * Memory management * Internal architecture * In lieu of a Bachelor Degree, minimum of eight (8) years of applied, practical work experience, within the last ten (10) years, in Windows Operating Systems to include the specified topic areas listed above * Two (2) years' experience, within the last (3) years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction to adults in the specified topic area to include facilitating student participation through role playing or operational simulations * Formal, documented training in a web-based or distance-learning teaching technologies, to include on line forums and multimedia presentations (eg Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal) Qualifications Degree: A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a directly related field Clearance: Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.
