Manager Technical Sales and Business Development:
Direct Manager: Chief Operating Officer
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Successfully develop business deals for all aspects of Bithenergy verticals including power generation, information systems and consulting, utilizing the creation of development and financial tools, risk management metrics, lead generation logs, financial investor modelling and utility relationships. Business deals must align with the companys short term and long term goals.
*Direct and lead technical sales for power generation, information systems and consulting
oEstablish and maintain diverse, strategic external partnerships
oPromote Bithenergy externally
oGenerate and secure clients, key accounts and project leads
oDevelop risk management tools required to execute savvy business deals
Deliverables and Measures of Success:
*Generate, distribute and maintain project lead logs and pipeline
*Develop new and cultivate existing relationships with financiers, IOUs, EPCs, equipment manufactures
*Implement, execute, and transmit appropriate documentation risk tools on Bithenergy letterhead (NDAs, LOIs, PPAs, Term Sheets, MIPA, etc.)
*Facilitate effective bi:weekly sales meetings
*Develop and implement strategic plan to meet company sales goals
*Seek out and present land acquisition opportunities with associated capital outlay to executive team
*Effectively transition projects from sales and development to operations
*Fully utilize Salesforce including (contacts, pursuits, proposals, etc.)
*Create high quality deliverables on a timely and regular basis (SME content for proposals, budget updates, presentations, financial offerings)
*Identify growth areas to expand the services offered in each company vertical
*Proper and timely engagement of internal Bithenergy staff in pursuit and development opportunities (marketing, proposals, administrative, operations, etc.)
*Use documentation risk tools to manage, eliminate and shift risk (NDAs, LOIs, PPAs, etc.)
*Develop sales budget with projections and forecasting of expenses
*Maintain client relationships post contract award
*3:5 years in energy and renewable industry
*8+ years in Sales and Business Development
*B.S., Business, Technical degree preferred
*Excellent verbal and written communication skillsCompany Description:/h3:
