Summary / Description We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Software Quality Assurance Testers interested in joining our team in Baltimore, MD and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. In this role you will work as a Quality Assurance tester, with primary responsibilities to include developing, documenting and testing solutions to meet needs of business partners. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:Provides development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of the contract. Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process. May be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation. Develops and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications.Candidate will create the Quality Control Plan required in the PMP. Within the QCP, the candidate shall identify its approach for providing quality control in meeting the requirements of the TO. The candidate's QCP shall describe its quality control methodology for accomplishing TO performance expectations and objectives. The candidate shall fully discuss its validated processes and procedures that provide high quality performance for each Task Area. The candidate shall also develop and incorporate a Continuous Improvement Program. This includes, but is not limited to: a. Ensuring candidate staff develops highly structured and secure code. b. Coordinating efforts with other candidates. c. Coordinating requirements and best practices with USMS customers. d. Conducting end user and business line customer satisfaction surveys. e. Identifying effective and efficient code for re-use. f. Leveraging existing code and services in meeting business requirements. g. Developing code with minimal defects h. Providing recommendations to the USMS for retiring applications without sacrificing business requirements Requirements Position Requirements:Experience performing quality assurance testing on software specific to the health care industry; preferred health care background. Must have working knowledge of HP products. * US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience Profiecent in Automated Tester, Selenium, J-Unit, Data Generator, Data Developer. The applicant must possess advanced knowledge of automated testing tools to build and execute performance and integration tests for complex or cross-functional systems, sub-systems or other technical solutions. Applicant should have a proficient understanding of Agile software development and be able to assist the development team in Agile practices of team sprints and epics, users stories, and acceptance criteria and tasks. Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with the development team members in the fast-paced, Agile development environment. Additionally, experience in the following areas is desired: Development of test automation components. C#, .Net and MS SQL Server. Enterprise messaging and distributed computing environments.
