Scrum Master Optomi, in partnership with a Global American company that manufactures footwear, sports, and casual apparel, is seeking a Scrum Master to drive and shape the development of their Agile process. The Scrum Master will be focused on facilitating the Agile ceremonies, specifically Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Project Planning/Management, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint Review/Demo sessions for the teams. They will have the opportunity to drive the Agile processes into what methodologies the company/teams will need to be successful! Certified Scrum Master CSM or related Agile certification highly desired! Thorough understanding of various Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.), values, and principles. Responsibilities: Facilitates Agile ceremonies, specifically Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retro and Sprint Review/Demo sessions for the teams. The Scrum Master will participate in the evolution of this agile delivery methodology for the Media BI team. In addition to evolving our processes, new big data and dashboard visualization technologies are being introduced to ensure the platform can evolve and scale along with the business needs. Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem-solving. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with regard to introducing agile principles, new technology, and cultural change. 2-5 years of Scrum Master experience. 5+ years of IT experience in Project Management or Technical Management.
