**Role Summary:**
At GE Middle River Aircraft Systems, we design and build Nacelles for commercial aircraft applications.
Our products help make it possible for millions of people to fly quickly and safely all around the world.
In this role, you will be an integral part of establishing site expertise in designing and integrating Nacelle Engine Build Up (EBU) systems.
**Essential Responsibilities:**
In particular you will
+ Design and document Engine Build Up (EBU) components including hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, fire detection, and anti-ice valve systems
+ Coordinate with other functions to meet business standards, practices, and procedures as well as product / program requirements
+ Execute product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivity
+ Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations on events occurring in fleet of fielded hardware
+ Effectively communicate with the engineering program manager to:
+ Prepare for technical and program reviews within the organization
+ Execute plans to achieve technical and program requirements
+ Develop action plans in response to problems
+ Participate in technical reviews and adhere to design practices and standards
+ Create engineering change packages, including part definition and change substantiation
+ Provide technical inputs to cost out projects and associated reviews **Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Engineering position related to the design of hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, and / or fire detection systems **ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:**

+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
