Job Summary:The IT Manager is a strategic and technical role that focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining ISEA?s network and server infrastructure. This position is ideal for a highly technical, business oriented engineer who desires involvement in all aspects of computer science and information technology. This is a demanding position that requires exceptional technical skill and business acumen.Maintain a highly available, scalable, and secure network and server environment.Daily support and monitoring of network infrastructure, company servers, technological peripherals, and digital services.Responsible for planning and executing technical projects.Responsible for procuring company technology.Responsible for leading and documenting system audits of implemented technologies.Responsible for developing and maintaining technological policy.Develop and maintain network and server infrastructure documentation (e.g. diagrams, server and service inventory)Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to further enhance company operation.Special projects as assignedSkills and Knowledge TechnicalStrong networking fundamentals (e.g. OSI Model and TCP/IP Stack, switching, routing, access control, remote access, subnetting, logging, 802.1x, and common protocols such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, TCP and UDP, and ICMP)Strong knowledge of Juno JunOS and Cisco IOSStrong knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (e.g., AD, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, certificate services, file services, print services, IIS, network policy/Radius, Hyper:V)Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware V:Sphere and ESXi, Microsoft Hyper:V)Strong knowledge working in and with cross platform networks (e.g., Linux/UNIX, Windows, Mac OS)Experience working with storage area networksExperience working with network IPS and IDS systemsPractical experience working with computer hardwareProgramming skills for network and server automation (e.g., shell scripting, PowerShell and batch scripts, python).
