The Business Analyst is an experienced liaison between business users and development teams by serving as the business problem solver. The Business Analyst provides the processes, questions, and techniques to synthesize the information needed from our clients for configuring, testing and deploying basys software. While supporting software implementations, the Analyst also drives process standardization and efficiencies. The Business Analyst also identifies problems and/or opportunities and defines solutions while remaining customer focused during the entire project lifecycle.
Key Job Responsibilities
:Develop deep knowledge in select basys technology products to be the subject:matter expert
:Interview subject matter experts, customers and other stakeholders to clarify and document customer business needs and translate those needs into clearly defined and detailed requirements and user:focused specifications
:Work collaboratively with customers to solve their business needs using basys technologies
:Configure proprietary software to satisfy customer requirements
:Work independently to design, configure, implement, and document technical solutions
:Facilitate user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality
:Production and review of test plans for new
:Functional testing of new
:Demonstration of new functionality and seek inputs on future direction of product
:Ensure quality and distribution of project deliverables, status reports, meeting minutes, etc.
:Communicate project updates and status reports internally and externally
:Conduct hands:on customer training as needed
Required For Success
:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar major with a computer:based or technical focus
:Experience with ERP implementations or software development (as a consultant, analyst or developer)
:Prior experience as a Business or Systems Analyst with demonstrated strong proficiency in requirements definition is helpful
:Exposure to healthcare claims or benefits processing and/or software is helpful
:Database or programming experience is considered a plus
:Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
:Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet demanding timelines
:Clear, effective, and proactive written and verbal communication skills
:Ability to conduct effective group presentations and training
:Expertise in core MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
