Job Title : Recruiting Coordinator Department : Human Resources FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Location : Baltimore Level: Entry-Level American Medical Response Location: Baltimore or Washington DC Position: Recruitement Coordinator Position Summary: Responsible for administration of recruitment and new hire efforts and coordinating with Operations as well as with Human Resources Business Partners. The position requires the completion and timely submission of requests, projects and routine reports, while ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality. Must demonstrate efficient work habits and demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills. Some travel as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for recruitment efforts including posting employment requisitions at the request of Operations Managers/HRBP and coordinating with Operations and applicants to schedule written exams and interviews. Responsible for reviewing the information provided on a prospective employee's application to determine the suitability of the applicant for employment, and to provide recommendations based on the qualifications of candidates for Operation to advance candidate through pipeline. Collects information from applicants such as certifications and driving abstracts. Coordinates orientation of new employees, including the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing new hire paperwork, collecting I-9 documentation, the employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc. Will act as a liaison for the pre-employment and new hire processes with MyHRconnection. Will act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, liaison with temporary agencies, employee referral program. Responsible for coordination of recruitment efforts with HRBP. Provide clerical and data entry back up to HRBP such as scanning and filing. Responsible for maintaining termination distribution lists for Operations. Other clerical and/or administrative duties and special projects may be assigned. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems. Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc. Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Licensing/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: One to three years of Administrative experience Recruitement Coordinator experience is a plus Knowledge and Skills: This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Considerable clerical specialized HR and Recruiting functions in the Company and applicant tracking software. Applicant is expected to have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and policies within the HR field. A basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the general public, to maintain confidentiality in daily operations, to conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner. Knowledge of business office operations, of filing and administrative clerical operations.
