Job Description We are seeking a Legal Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive firm success. Responsibilities: Draft legal correspondence and other formal documents Plan and schedule appointments and events Greet and assist clients Answer inbound telephone calls on a multi-line system Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail Updating and maintaining client records and databases Develop and implement organized filing systems Perform all other office tasks Qualifications: Previous experience in office administration or other related fields, preferably in the legal field Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills A pleasant telephone manner Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency in Access is preferred but not required. Proficiency in legal database software including Time Matters and Needles Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Notary Public a plus.
