Job Description
The Agency is seeking a Candidate to implement a model which transforms the health care system by shifting from the traditional fee-for-service reimbursement mechanism to a new payment model that encourages collaboration among health care providers and accelerates efforts to avoid unnecessary admissions and readmissions.
Purpose
+ Maintain the functionality of the existing automated Financial Information System
+ Create additional functionality to capture the reporting of additional data elements into the Financial Information System;
+ Develop edit checks that ensure the new data accepted through the Financial Information System complies with Client's requirements
+ Revise and update technical documentation for the Financial Information System.
+ Support hospitals submitting and receiving files from the automated Financial Information System
Qualifications
+ Candidate should have Experience with hospital financial data information,
+ Candidate should have Experience with Tableau and data extracts.
+ Candidate should have Experience in maintaining all System Documentation, keeping current all design, procedures, requirements, etc.
+ Candidate should have Experience with updating functionality as required by the Client
+ Candidate should have Experience in maintaining parallel environments and provide parallel operations for: testing the configurations, configuring and maintaining a testing environment for hospitals to submit test data while simultaneously allowing data submission in the existing system.
+ Candidate should have Experience in configuring, managing, and maintaining a test environment for new functionality or data collection tools while concurrently supporting data submission in the existing system (Parallel operations).
+ Candidate should have Experience in monitoring for software updates and upgrades (e.g. SQL Server), shall communicate with Client when such updates/upgrades need to be applied, and shall perform such testing as necessary to ensure continued operation of the Financial Information System, including ensuring that the SQL Server for the Financial Information System is compatible with the newest version of the Windows Operating System.
+ Candidate should have Experience in providing training on how to access the Financial Information System, upload data template(s) and submit the data to the Client via the Financial Information System. Historically, this training has been performed as a webinar. Any webinar shall be recorded and available for replay.
+ Candidate should have Experience in performing at least one disaster recovery exercise per year in collaboration with the hosting vendor, including demonstration that data is recovered from backups.
+ Candidate should have Experience in designing and implementing a cohesive look-and-feel for Client s users and hospital interactions.
+ Candidate should have Experience in Establishing a robust data collection mechanism that takes into account the hospitals current level of technical capability and current familiarity with Excel file submissions
+ Candidate should have Experience in Establishing secure transactions and user access, roles and permissions
+ Candidate should have Experience in implementing data validation for uploaded data, with appropriate error handling and notifications. Error handling shall include clear identification of issues and indication which party is expected to resolve the issue,
+ Candidate should have Experience in aggregating data for purposes of performing data analysis
+ Candidate should have Experience in designing and implementing flexible and robust reporting capabilities with multiple outputs for Client and appropriate hospital users to perform trend analysis on data collected over time
+ Candidate should have Experience in providing a mechanism for Client to archive and delete records meeting age requirements.
