Job DescriptionBookkeeper and Office Generalist for Real Estate Development and Construction Company (Baltimore City Area) We seek a motivated, well-organized, and experienced individual capable of managing accounting for real estate development company. Current projects are full-gut renovations of Baltimore City row houses and multi-family buildings. The company is a small but growing company seeking key staff to participate in its expansion. Great work culture!! Salary will be commensurate with experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA' . Daily Execution of QuickBooks bookkeeping and recordingA' . Assist in the maintenance and creation of various financial spreadsheets using QuickBooks and ExcelA' . Work with CPA in preparation of tax filingsA' . Provide timekeeping information and payroll reportsA' . Record and pay subcontractor and vendor invoices in a timely mannerA' . Manage and execute AR, AP for the companyA' . Maintain an efficient accounting systemA' . Assist with project schedules and material orderingA' . Work with construction supervisors and management in preparation of filings, proposals, permit documentsA' . Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Consummate professional.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSA' . QuickBooks Enterprise expertise in multi company file environmentA' . College Degree preferably in accounting or business administration or equivalent college degreeA' . Proactive, self-starter able to propose solutions to problems as they ariseA' . Construction and/or Real Estate Development industry bookkeeping experienceA' . Intermediate Excel expertiseA' . Fluent spoken and written EnglishA' . Must pass background check and drug screeningA' . Valid DriverA cents € (TM) s License PREFERRED EXPERIENCEA' . Minimum five years (preferably ten years+) of responsible accounting experience including general ledger and financial reportsA' .
