Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to achieving its vision and mission of becoming an innovation led transnational pharmaceutical company.The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for their individual customerA?s receivables, posting of customer payments, proper execution of deductions and write:offs, ledger reconciliations, and monthly account analysis and reporting. The AR Analyst will also play an integral role in conducting a departmental review of current processes and procedures to identify improvements and efficiencies, and will assist the AR Manager in implementing any changes. Candidates must have extensive A/R function experience, a strong accounting background/education, and excellent communication and customer service skills.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOwning daily activities related to the AR function, including invoicing, returns, adjustments, collections, month end close, internal controls, and audit requirementsPrepare and analyze (via accurate and concise variance explanations) management reporting and required key performance indicators for the U.S. Accounts Receivable organization Escalate payment issues to AR Manager for timely resolutionAddress all non:routine AR related transactions effectively and timelyCollaborate and coordinate with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Order Management, Accounting, Commercial Operations, and Financial Systems (IT) on projects and resolution of AR issues to ensure key decisions are properly supported and communicated prior to implementationInvolvement in ad:hoc projects and reporting related to accounts receivable, as necessary, to support business strategies and expanding business footprint for continuous improvementAssist in development/refinement of AR policies and procedures and ensure compliance BachelorA?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics; 2 : 5 years of experience in AR or Cash Posting finance/accounting or public accounting, pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience preferredComprehensive understanding of the full accounts receivable cycle, as well as functional/departmental interdependencies across the entire OTC processStrong understanding of period end close cycle, ability to understand accounting flows related to AR to ensure appropriate posting and reporting in our financial reportsAbility to make informed credit decisions via analysis of financial statements, payment history and credit reports, as well as deal with high volume of transactionsDemonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross:functionally Team player, Results driven self:starter, who can work independently or with minimal supervision and who has success in a team environmentStrong knowledge of business practices, time management and organizational skillsCandidate must have excellent oral presentation and communication skills, and is able to maintain appropriate written and electronic documentation consistent with approved policy SAP a
